Abdellatif Christou Architects was established by Nasser Abdellatif and Despina Christou in Nicosia, Cyprus in 2003. Since 2003 the office has been involved in a diverse range of architectural projects in Cyprus.

Projects range from refurbishments, residential developments, large-scale building blocks, offices and custom-tailored private homes. The practice has also received awards and participated in a number of competitions in Cyprus. The office currently employees six people as a full time staff, including four architects, an interior designer and 3D computer expert, and a traditional model maker.

The office has extensive experience in computer aided design, using the latest in PC workstations to produce 2D and 3D presentation materials, working drawings, and construction documents. The office is equipped with the latest technology to furnish design documents to consultants. Traditional drawing and model making techniques are extensively employed at all stages of the design process to help visualize and develop important aspects of the designs. In particular, 3D facilities for production of high-quality presentations function as a key resource in the development and realization of the studio’s designs.

Our studio targets to achieve excellence through a close collaborative process between ourselves and our clients. Through this collaborative process, we convey our client’s needs and visions into a reality. This pursuit of excellence can only be achieved through extensive work and constant evaluation at all stages, from concept to completion, which we are committed to. The same way as an artist’s creation carries a part of his self even after the artwork is “delivered”, so are we responsively conscious of the quality of our finished work. Our studio’s motto, “be true to your work and your work will be true to you”, acts as the driving mechanism that enables us to achieve the best for our clients as well as for ourselves.
